Gradini x Rituals The Ritual of Sakura Afternoon Tea

(Hong Kong, 2 March 2020) From now to 31 May 2020, Gradini Ristorante E Bar Italiano has joined hands with Rituals, Amsterdam home and body cosmetics, to debut the first ever-co-branded afternoon tea - “The Ritual of Sakura Afternoon Tea” for you to celebrate the arrival of cherry blossoms.
 
As inspired by The Ritual of Sakura collection, Executive Chef Cano has whipped up a selection of sakura-inspired confectioneries to mimic the experience of flower-viewing during the blooming season.
 
Taking notes from The Ritual of Sakura products that are made with an infusion of sakura and organic rice milk, Chef Cano has adorned the tea set with these two key ingredients to excite your senses with the bite-sized pastries. Highlights feature the most iconic Japanese treat - Sakura Raindrop Cake. With the elegant and aesthetic appeal, the crystal clear raindrop cake is filled with some pickled sakura. The ultra- creamy Barley Panna Cotta just dissolves and floods your senses with pleasure while not to mention its melt-in-mouth texture. Also, not-to be-missed Assorted Macaron and Chestnut Chocolate Pearl always tempt the taste buds of sweet-cravers.
 
Chef Cano has delicately prepared a holistic spread of savory items, including the crunchy Lobster Vol-au-vent, which is fully filled with the jet-fresh chunks of lobster meat to add extra delights to this warmly-served pastry; Foie Gras Mousse Tart with Red Wine Jelly, a surprising match made in heaven for a natural harmony between aromas and freshness. To add an elevated and artistic touch to the tea set, you will also need to save space for the Italian signature delights - Mozzarella Cheese with Cocktail Tomato Sandwich and 36-month San Daniele Ham served with Truffle Honey and Fig.
 
To complement the decadent afternoon tea, each guest will have the choice of a freshly brewed Illy coffee or a selection of premium assorted whole-leaf tea by Tea WG.
 
Patrons of the co-branded afternoon tea will be eligible to receive a complimentary deluxe gift set (value: HK$205) including Zensational Foaming Shower Gel (50ml), Magic Touch Body Cream (70ml) , Softening Rice Scrub (70ml) and Blossoming Hand Wash (110ml), while stock lasts.
