Winter Romance Afternoon Tea Set at The Pottinger Hong Kong

(Hong Kong, 1 December 2018) In welcoming the arrival of winter season, Gradini Ristorante E Bar has been transformed into a winter wonderland for Winter Romance Afternoon Tea, available from now through 30 January 2019.

To embrace the winter wonderland at Gradini, Executive Chef Cano has prepared an Instagramable tea set featuring adorable bite-sized treats and savoury items which are elegantly displayed in a vintage glass jewelry box.

Starting with the dazzling savory bites featuring Mini Mince Pie, a classic festive delight but rarely served in Hong Kong, is coveted for its crunchy and crispy texture. To bring the revival of indulgence to the afternoon tea enthusiasts, Chef Cano handcrafts the luxurious yet creative combination for Mini Lobster Sandwich served with Black Truffle Mayonnaise and 36-month San Daniele Ham paired with Truffle Honey and Fig. In alignment with hotel’s East meets West motto, be sure not to miss the local favourites, Hong Kong-styled Barbecued Pork Puff and Slow-cooked Oxtail Vol-au-vent with Black Truffle Gravy!

Followed by the irresistible savoury items, the sweet offerings always shine with the arresting presentation and vibrant flavours. Rose Panna Cotta is infused with Hokkaido Specially Select 3.6 Milk and aromatic flavor of rose. To top it off, Glittering Chocolate Truffle and Assorted Macarons are not-to-be-missed treats to tickle your sweet tooth.

To complement the delightful afternoon tea, every guest can enjoy the freshly brewed illy coffee or a selection of premium assorted whole-leaf tea by Tea WG.
